What are the different types of summary frames?

2025-02-06

Heddle frames can be categorized into various types based on different classification standards. The following is a detailed summary of heddle frame types:

I. Classification by Weaving Machine Type
Shuttle heddle frames: Suitable for shuttle looms.
Shuttleless heddle frames: Suitable for shuttleless looms, further subdivided into water-jet, air-jet, rapier, and projectile heddle frames, etc., to adapt to different types of shuttleless looms.
II. Classification by Material
Aluminum alloy heddle frames: Made of aluminum alloy material, they have good strength and lightweight characteristics.
Steel heddle frames: Using steel sheet material, they have high rigidity and durability.
Carbon fiber heddle frames: Using carbon fiber composite materials, they have extremely high bending strength and lightweight advantages.
Magnesium alloy heddle frames: Using magnesium alloy material, combining lightweight with a certain degree of strength.
Carbon-aluminum composite heddle frames: Carbon fiber composite material is filled in the aluminum alloy heddle frame to improve its rigidity and dynamic performance.
III. Classification by Heddle Type
J-type heddle frames: Suitable for J-type heddles, mainly used in positive shedding shuttleless looms.
C-type heddle frames: Suitable for C-type heddles, also used in positive shedding shuttleless looms.
O-type heddle frames: Matched with O-type heddles, mainly used in early shuttleless looms and negative shedding air-jet and water-jet looms.
Special heddle frames: Heddle frames designed according to the type and weaving requirements of special heddles.
IV. Classification by Brand and Manufacturer
There are many well-known heddle frame manufacturers on the market, such as Groz-Beckert (now a subsidiary of GROZ-BECKERT in Germany), STEEL in the United States, and Nankai in Japan, as well as domestic manufacturers such as Shanghai Yizhong (authorized), Shanghai Yida (joint venture), Yangzhou Yingxin, and Xiaoshan Jindu. The heddle frames provided by these manufacturers may differ in material, structure, and performance to meet the needs of different customers.

V. Classification by Special Design and Function
Reinforced heddle frames: To meet the needs of high-speed looms, some manufacturers have launched reinforced heddle frames, improving their rigidity and stability by increasing the beam height, adding intermediate supports, and using high-performance materials.
Lightweight heddle frames: Using lightweight design concepts, such as carbon fiber reinforced heddle frames, to reduce the weight of the heddle frame, reducing the loom's energy consumption and vibration.
In summary, there are many types of heddle frames. Customers need to comprehensively consider factors such as the type, specifications, weaving requirements, and budget of the loom when making a selection.
